Stephen Morse Interviewed

ok. well, if you haven't heard me whispering about the Stephen Morse project then here goes.

it's a 12 poem collection packed into a cigar box. the size of the matter has obvious limitations/gave me another reason to do some groovy stuff with the pomes. the matchbook poem was an easy addition. i think my favorite little piece is the swisher sweet mini-book i came up with.

i'll talk about it all more later. right now, i have to send stephen his crow box. oh, the title of this piece is "Accidental Hell" and it's fucking awesome.

till later, check out his interview at What to Wear During an Orange Alert.
peace out, yo.;)chele

APA Centauri

sometimes it seems like everything i read is online. fuck the library. if i actually want a book they might carry, i might just as well spend the few dollars i would spend in gas and buy a just as good as new used copy from amazon. though the case is, when buying print, i usually spend my bucks elsewhere. that’s another blog.

see, i recently joined this group called the APA Centauri. don’t know what an APA is? looky here- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amateur_press_association . Besides the money you keep in the general account to cover shipping... which i say- just doesn’t count. I mean, it’s like maybe 2 bucks a mailing, if that. The only money you’re putting into this is the copies you’ll need to send the Central Mailer of your contribution for each mailing.

This last APA, man... I felt like I was stealing. It was fat with awesomeness. I couldn’t tell you the exact content though, cause after I sat with it for a couple days i sent it on to another fellow who sends me his most fabulous free chaps from time to time. Calliope Nerve was in there... Non-Creative Garbage.. a new zine by Ariel Lee, a regular contributor to Calliope. oh, that one was the best, i think.

now that i have rattled on and i’m sure it didn’t make a bit of sense. here’s where you can read more about the APA Centauri and Calliope Nerve if you were so inclined.... http://nobius.blogspot.com
and, here- http://sejdb.freeshell.org/ncg/index.html is Non Creative Garbage
