Red Fez Publications Names New Fiction Editor

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Red Fez Publications Names New Fiction Editor

The evolution of Red Fez Publications continues with the addition of Andy Meisenheimer to the editorial staff. Beginning with the 29th issue of Red Fez, the small press will never be the same.

September 12, 2010--Red Fez Publications has appointed Andy Meisenheimer as associate fiction editor. Andy joins the staff of Head Fiction Editor Patrick Simonelli, and will begin his toil and torment with the 29th issue of Red Fez, due out in December 2010.

Currently a freelance editor and writing coach. Meisenheimer edits book-length manuscripts for writers and publishers. Prior to this, Andy spent several years as an Acquisitions Editor at Zondervan/HarperCollins. He obtained a BA in English Literature at Wheaton College in Illinois. The staff at Red Fez is willing to forgive this as long as he is not a Cubs fan.

Red Fez Publication’s
Head Fiction Editor, Patrick Simonelli says: “He has an impressive resume. He has a name we can easily make fun of. ... And looking at the places he's worked I don't think he is one of my many enemies trying to get close to me, then kill me.”

Editor-in-Chief Michele McDannold adds: “Sense of humor is crucial around here and by the tone of Andy’s cover letter, I think he’ll fit right in. Besides, he stays up late reading Red Fez instead of sleeping--- A+.”

Meisenheimer begins his editing duties at Red Fez effective immediately. This is sure to launch him into small press super stardom or in the very least tarnish his reputation for working in Christian Publishing forever. For more information visit www.andymeisenheimer.comor editorialdepartment.com.
